Tournament proceeds benefit many organizations. In past years, the Tom Scott Foundation has awarded monies to Great Basin College by means of a memorial scholarship to students, to the Spring Creek Golf Course Junior Golf Program and countless other organizations that demonstrate the TSF’s mission statement, “To further academic and athletic opportunities for the youth of Elko County.” Besides the Junior Golf program, the committee has donated to the Igloo organization, the Spring Creek High School Golf Team, the Gamble Oak Pony Club, the Cinderella Scholarship Pageant, Sage Elementary School, Spring Creek Trap and Skeet, and Adopt a Family among others.  It's the tiki-tastic TSM! The Tom Scott Foundation and PGA Professional Jason Jerman invite everyone to come participate in Nevada’s most unique and fun golf tournament…the annual, Thomas Scott Memorial Golf Tournament, Saturday, August 9, 2008 at the Spring Creek Golf Course. Registration begins at 6:30 am with an 8 am conch shell start. Cost is $40 per person and includes a luau-style lunch, a free golf lesson, and a tournament goody bag. Cart and green fees are extra.
